10 October 2025 – Kyoto-based creative studio Q-Games has released its latest PixelJunk title, Dreams of Another, now available on PS5, PS VR2, and Steam.
The story revolves around two protagonists, The Man in Pajamas and The Wandering Soldier. As you progress through their thoughts, dreams, and regrets, you encounter mysterious objects and strange characters who guide you deeper into the chaos. Use weapons to reveal the world around you — completely reversing their traditional role in a game.
The newly released launch trailer showcases the game’s innovative mechanics and surreal dreamlike world, accompanied by music composed by the game’s director himself, Baiyon.

It’s rare for a game director to also compose its soundtrack. In Dreams of Another, Baiyon handled direction, art, story, and music — creating a truly unified multimedia experience.
This track, featured in the game’s announcement trailer, captures a nostalgic, dreamlike feeling with its soft piano melody. The release includes hand-drawn cover art by Baiyon himself.

👤 About Baiyon
Baiyon is a Kyoto-based multimedia artist, sound producer, creative director, art director, game designer, and DJ.
He made his musical debut in 2004 with the film Moog, a documentary about the legendary synthesizer maker.
Since then, Baiyon has produced original music, remixes, and visual art, collaborating across media and with artists worldwide.
He has worked on PixelJunk Eden, PixelJunk 4am, and composed music for LittleBigPlanet 2.
Game Developer magazine named him one of the industry’s “Fifty Most Important Figures.”
He runs his own label, Descanso, and has performed live globally.
In 2016, after 15 years as a freelancer, Baiyon joined Q-Games as Creative Director, leading projects such as Eden Obscura (2018) and PixelJunk Eden 2 (2020).
